Tiger writes in the July Golf Digest that one of his most reliable shots at the Masters was a little "holder". To play it, he maintains the angle of the right wrist through impact, delaying the release. Article is on page 41 of the July issue. It shows a pictture of Tiger past contact with his right wrist still bent and his left wrist flat.

Arguably an intuitive genius with a club in his hands.... it's amazing he does not make the cognitive connection between the mechanics of his highly valued "go to" stroke and its significance to what could be his full swing.

Tiger's Driver stroke might be all pivot control, I think his brains are in his hips and never in his hands except with his short game. The man has a great Hitter's Stroke with a short iron in his hands.

I hear ya. If the Tour hadn't turned into "hit and go find it" maybe he would have had to question the intelligence of those hips.
