Inside the PGA Tour

Someone should tape Inside the PGA Tour tonight. I was only half listening when a flashback to a 1991 episode showed a guy who went through the whole TGM thing (accumulators, geometry of the circle, et. al.) in a humerous demonstration of the golf swing. I pooped myself. :P Straight TGM on TGCm even if circa 1991, and with tongue in cheek.

Did anyone else catch this?
I gotta hit the sack. It's episode 05-030. Will be repeated several times tomorrow.

That was definitely a spoof on TGM for sure (Classic)....J.C. Anderson???

DG
Yes, that was J.C. Anderson. I saw that segment years ago, prior to any knowledge of TGM, and thought it was hysterical. I just happened to catch it again last night and, with some rudimentary knowledge of TGM, laughed even harder. The funniest part was when he hits the ball, it pops up, he grabs it and looks at it, throws it down the line, and then grabs the club and poses in a full finish. Makes me chuckle even this morning.
Stay healthy folks. Dr Dave
i taped it. I'll make it a file this week and try to post it somewhere if ya all like.

Thanks Mike!
Who the heck is/was J.C. Anderson?
If bagger or Tri can right click this an upload it on the forum, it would help the traffic. QT works best- I just went MAC- not not Phil O'Grady- Apple computers and it has been a joy.

here ya go:

Now loaded in our new Gallery under LBG Reality TV.
J.C. Anderson was a tour player for several years. He played the P.G.A. Tour and the Hogan or Buy.com Tour. He was a good player, but I don't think he won a P.G.A. event.

He is a TGMer. I think he teaches somewhere now.
Who is JC Anderson?...I know JC...My very first Profesional Event at 21 years of age was the 1991 Ben Hogan Tour Event at Brierwood CC in Hamburg, NY...I was paired with JC Anderson and Jeff Gallagher for 2 rounds...Great Player...great Swing...Sorry to be boastful ..but I was 3 under through the first six, then the front nine...then on hole...14 made a snowman..finished even par...recorded a MC the next day with a smooth +4...moral of the story...TGM makes the golfing world even smaller...little did I know that I was Playing with a TGM Celebrity...

Even funnnier than the first time I saw it!
Hehe...cool.

Is he really a TGM guy or is he just poking fun?

That was pretty cool the way he made the ball pop up like that anyway.

Is what he's saying actually 100% TGM correct? (Yoda?)
Thanks 6bmike. That was fun to watch!

Just watched the video twice, and without really picking on it, here's what I found:

"Golf involves the physics of muscular thrust..."
Should be the physics of rotation because it could also be with centrifugal force.

"You can divide the golf stroke into 24 basic components, each having between 12-15 variations."
Should be 3-15 variations.

But I think we've missed the point of the video here..
nono I didn't miss the point.....funny video, yes...very very funny indeed.
Funny!

I couldn't help but wonder whether he was "TGM-correct" or not.

BTW he put a pretty nice swing on that ball....lots of lag...kind of reminds me of Couples....

He doesn't get much compression tho...
