Is this wrong?

It's 5:00 am and I'm waiting for my brother to pick me up at our equipment yard, I work in construction. He's late as always so I pulled my dowels out of the trunk of my car and start tracing my plane line with my right arm flying wedge. Is this normal?

It is around here, stilltrying. Keep it up and watch those scores go down!

Is it normal?!?! A BIG resounding YES IT"S NORMAL!!
And if he still hasn't arrived when you finish with the dowels, bring out the impact bag.
I'm not sure this is normal ...but I'm serious.I was thinking about the dowel drill in the shower(!#*~!) .I would appreciate a more experienced view on this one .If you take a shower brush(back scrubber)and hold it in your right hand bristles up with your thumb on top, bend your wrist ,fan your right elbow to the top then go just a bit further the bristles will hit you square in the middle of the back......correct

I can see how this could happen if you Cocked your Right Wrist (a Vertical Motion), but not if you only Bent it (a Horizontal Motion). The latter, by the way, is the preferred action. To Cock the Right Wrist is to destroy the Right Forearm Flying Wedge.
In the Shower!!!! That was the most obscure post to date.........LOL

I will not ask what you used for a straight plane line.......
Thanks SwingNorthtoSouth but I'm not divulging that to anyone.
I am grateful for Yoda's input on this one ,I suppose I should have said the brush should be parallel to the inclined plane ?....I was trying to figure out a tactile way to learn about where i was at the top.I 'M STILL LEARNING
Obviously Yoda is correct' but at least I know that if I get to the top and cock my (right)wrist and the bristles hit me in the back (squarely) Iam on plane......right?Showers will never be the same

I admire your enthusiasm, Neil. Only a true-blue Born to the Blood G.O.L.F.er could replace singing in the shower with swinging in the shower. Let's finish up this primer on Brush Strokes:

From Address to the Top, through the Downstroke and at least into the Finish Swivel, the brush should be On Plane. At the Top, if the brush is parallel to the shower floor (horizontal), it should be parallel to the Base Line of your Inclined Plane. Otherwise, depending on which is nearest the floor, either the butt end of the brush or its bristles should point at the Baseline.

Now then...

Have you ever tried taking the soap bar to the 'Take the Oath' position?

I thought not.

Get ready for the next level:

With the soap bar Right Shoulder high, its straight-line base line -- if you've got oval soap, all bets are off -- will point at the straight line Baseline of the Inclined Plane. It will also be parallel to it.

Check it out.

Thank you, Neil. Only when I was younger have I ever had this much fun in the shower.

Hey guys, give me a break I was serious! If the bristles (i.e. paddle wheels) were ON THE INCLINED PLANE..on the top surface of the glass!!! then would a slight right wristcock at the top make the bristles hit you square on the back?Sorry to sound so sad but I thought I had a feel translation of my dowel drill.Got to go now time for my shower...........

Dowels (for Tracing)...

Towels (for Walloping)...

Whatever.

You're too much, Bob. Next thing we know you'll be suggesting using the drain as the Aiming Point.

I get in trouble for an imprecise aiming point all the time around the toilet.
Ahahaha.....only in a TGM forum....no one else would understand!...but I do- completely.

Funny posts.
What is the take oath position? Is it something to do with misbehaving Presidents ? or are you guys taking advantage of a naive limey?

Imagine you are in court and they are swearing you in before you give your testimony. One hand on the bible, the other in the 'oath position'.
