Read the book and see the movie: "The Greatest ....

About a week ago I picked up a copy of "The Greatest Game Ever Played" by Mark Frost. I couldn't put it down. It's the story of Francis Ouimet and the 1913 U.S. Open.

My wife and I just got back from the movie (and dinner) of the same title. It too was great, well done. How good do you ask? Well, normally half way through the show I head for the little boys room. Not this time, I just sat there with my legs crossed. I didn't want to miss a second. When it was over... that's another story. Surfice it to say I made it in time.

Many times when I read a book and like it, then go to the movie the movie; is lacking. Not this time. My wife also loved it.

I'm sure that the majority of people on this forum will love the book and movie.
Yes it is a great movie, I need to read the book.
It was good, but no Tin Cup.........
I also thought it was a fantastic "feel good" movie. I went with 3 out 4 of my kids (including my 2 boys that are 5 and 7). I thought it would be to slow for them but they genuinely liked it.
