Dowels and Wedges?

OK, I went to the local way too corporate monster home improvement store and walked out with what I went in for and two 5/8" x 48" wooden dowels. Now what? I've viewed the flying wedges video with Lynn. Are these the drills that everyone talks about.

We need a video on this. People are always askin' about this and it's soooo difficult to describe in words.

How's about a video like a Billy Blanks type of thing "Complete Dowel Workout with the LGM"?

But watch the whole thing. Over and over

...can download the clip, but the audio's missing. Can it be reloaded? Did anyone else have this problem?
