Rob Aikens

First time I see simple tips on PGATOUR.COM that are actually worth watching - and for anyone.

Does Rob Aikens have TGM background? The tips are simplified TGM basics but spot on. He uses 2-3 visuals that I haven't seen before. I like them.

Those are good...Brian M also does the body turn one with the club horizontal to the ground on his Building Blocks video. Is Rob demonstrating an on plane motion with angled hinging?

This is solid stuff, Mellalion. Thanks for posting the link.

I strongly recommend the Rob Aikens Tips and also the preceding Stan Utley Tips. Borrowing a concept from security analysis, TGM is growing from the bottom-up, not the top-down. Nobody preached alignments like these before Homer Kelley and his Golfing Machine came along. Now, the best teachers in the world are making the concepts routine.

It probably wouldn't hurt if we all dropped the folks at www.pgatour.com a little note saying how much we enjoyed these particular tips.

Rob Aikens is maintaining his Left Wrist 'vertical to the ground,' i.e., perpendicular to the Horizontal Plane. This alignment is the natural result of the rotation of the Body and Arm Swing. On any Plane, it assures Horizontal Hinge Action (Left Wrist Paddlewheel Action producing Closing Only Clubface Motion).

I think they play in Windows Media Player, so make sure you have the correct plug-in. I didn't bother them, honestly, so I don't know if that's it or not, but I couldn't get them to work either.
Unplayable lie - took a drop and still no joy!
As an alternative you may try to use this link. If ok you should see a Real Player page from where the vid can be launched. You'll have to sit through the ad before Rob comes on.

This is the link for the knockdown shot. I can provide the other one if this works.
