V.J. Trolio -- Champion!

Don't let anybody tell you that our own V.J. Trolio is just a 'short-game' guy. True, he is co-inventor of The Putting ArcĀ®, the most widely-used training aid in golf. But the boy can golf his ball tee-to-green as well.

The proof is in the pudding. And in the most recent case, the 'pudding' is his victory in the 2006 Gulf States PGA TaylorMade-adidas Golf Assistant Championship held at Beau Pre' CC in Natchez, Mississippi, on August 7-8. V.J. fired rounds of 71-70, 3-under par, and bested a field of 30. His sparkling performance earned him a trip to the National TaylorMade-adidas PGA Assistant Professional Championship to be held Oct 26-29 at the PGA Golf Club at the Reserve, North Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Congratulations, V.J...

We'll be in your gallery at the Nationals!

P.S. Here's a photo of V.J. (left) talking golf with Ron Gring, GSED, during our recent visit to the Titleist Performance Institute.

Good luck in the next two rounds.
Thanks, Tony, for these results and for this link.

V.J. Trolio is one heckuva golfer -- PGA TOUR caliber, really -- and he is as good a teacher as he is a player. Not to mention the fact that...

He is one of the all-around-great good guys!

See you on Sunday, V.J. Your LBG Gallery is with you all the way!

Meanwhile, get that right delt strong...

Crystal is heavy!

Could not get'er done guys. The 73 Sat wasn't all that upsetting because of the weather. The 75 Sunday was......let's just say I didn't clean it up around the greens at all.

The first hole of the Sunday I hit driver, 3iron to 10 feet and canned it. Numbers 2,3,and 4 were played really well and the birdie putts were solidly struck but did not fall. On 5 I hit 8iron from 170something (really downwind) over the back of the green. That is when my janitorial services around the green (clean up) really slowed down. I "Texas-Wedged" it there on 5, then on 6, and again on 7! It took me three each time I used the "Texas-Wedge" and I turned a stretch of par-birdie-par into bogey-par-bogey!!!!!!

Good ole boring golf with a very slow janitor all the way in from there.

Thanks for the support and the phone calls.
