If you had to,

Swing the club with one arm only, forevermore, which would it be?

and why, of course.
It depends if you are a righty or lefty golfer and if you want to hit or swing. I know this will open up a can of worms with the "Right Arm Swing".
Left . . . Law of the Flail . . .Master Accumulator #4 . . . Velocity Accumulator #2 . . . Flat Left Wrist . . . Hinge Action . . . CF . . . Body Power . . . Full Lever Extension . . . #3 too.

I met and saw the World One Arm Driving Champion from a few years ago... at least he said he was.

He had two arms, but played with one. He used his........RIGHT ARM. He was very impressive. He used a very strong grip(rotated to the right). I filmed him, and he had good alignments coming down, and a very very "late hit." I believe he could hit it close to 300 yards one handed.

He said he went to Europe to compete. He said most of those guys were playing "back-handed." I believe he said they could hit it around 230 to 240. He said he won easily.

I saw him hit. It was kind of hard to believe.

I'm asking you if you had to, so if you are right or left or hit or swing.

I would use the backhand technique for the reasons 12 pc. laid out.

Interesting that a long driver would use the right, I'd love to see the video.

Frankly, you'd be struck with whatever arm you were left with.

So in the meantime- lets use both. Primary & Secondary Levers on the left- Extension Action on the right. Educated HandS.
Which arm delivers the far more powerful blow in tennis forehand or backhand? Just ask Roger Federer (Tiger probably did at the open).
No contest - right arm.
Left Arm long shots. Right arm short shots including putter....
