How is a little dude like Camilo Villegas at 5'9" and 142 lbs able to drive with the big boys....his current stat for driving average is 302.4 yards with an accuracy of 58.2 %. He is as far off the tee as Davis Love who is 6'3" and 175 lbs.

The fact he is pure muscle probably doesn't hurt!

He seems to have that youthful wiry kind of muscle rather than the massive bulk of muscle that some of the older long drive champs have.

Long levers must help too - 5 foot nine inches but how long are his arms? - makes for a long primary lever assembly!

I always saw Davis as someone who could be longest on tour if he wanted to be, but he's content. Always shocked at his club selections for his swing radius, 7 iron 155-170.

Villegas on the other hand appears as if he's just about maxed out in the swing speed dept.
