It is similar to Stack and Tilt and nothing to do with a SINGLE plane as The Golfing Machine talks about it.
When used just as a catalog- TGM can classify the stroke for an INDIVIDUAL. How the individual maintains 1-L is the trick.

I don't know nothing 'bout their swing . . . but that damn Thickburger is good!
TGM concept is applicable to all swing...

One plane swing , are Pivot controlled swing. which require less Arm actions.

One thing that doesn't fit to TGM is the name itself.. one plane.

Similar to stack and tilt but the way each get steep shoulder turn is different.

Hardy´s "one plane and two plane" theroy has nothing to do with swingplanes. They are just his reference of the relationship between shoulders and left arm at the top.

One plane
Both left arm and shoulders are on the same plane
Think of Vijay

Two plane
Left arm is higher/steeper than shoulders
think of Colin
