Been working with him since he was a kid. His first time at Q-School. He shot 12under in the Prequalifying, and 11 under at Stage One. Better really go low today however or no status.

Any kin to ex-PGA TOUR player Jack Renner?
No relation. Just a great young guy with Three Imperatives and Three Essentials that is mentally tough. If he doesn't make a dent this year, he will in the future.

Jim finished his last round with a 5 under par, 67, the was the second low round for the entire field. With his back to the wall, he finished his last nine holes with six birdies and three pars . Unfortunately, he came up one shot short of going to the final stage .

When you watch a PGA TOUR player, you are watching someone who has earned his spurs. The pricetag on those spurs...we cannot imagine.

So...

Enjoy the tournament.

And enjoy the play.

But, most of all...

Enjoy the players.

They are the best in the world.

Greg Kraft and Ian Leggatt have qualified for the Final Stage of Q-School. Congratulations!

The field of approximately 156 players will play six rounds on the Crooked Cat course at Orange County National in Winter Garden, Florida, November 28 - December 3. Follow the action at http://pgatq.bluegolf.com/bluegolf/p...q724/index.htm.
