Tempo and rhythm using TGM?

How does tempo and rhytym work in the
TGM swing?

Is it a result of the motion? How can it
be developed to be consistent?

I have used "Tour Tempo" with mixed results.

I may be wrong but I am not aware of the word "tempo"being used in TGM.
Rhythm requires a much longer explanation than I have time for right now,but in simple terms,here goes;
It is the travel rate of the secondary lever assembly [the club] dependent upon the hinge action being used,without losing the essential flat left wrist .THE ROLL OF ACCUMULATOR #3(the angle between the left arm and the clubshaft] defines the travel distance of the club.So, for example dual horizontal hinging will allow the club to travel further than vertical hinging for the same amount of movement of the arms.
When you add the pivot ,the turning rate of all components must be in synch with the #3 accumulator roll or you lose it's rhythm.


So I would describe it as the maximum turning speed of the pivot in order to maintain the in synch #3 acc roll without producing throwaway.AND IT WILL PROBABLY BE MUCH SLOWER THAN YOU THINK!

Having re -read this ,it is not a great description -bit rushed at the moment ,but hopefully it will not do any harm!

In the Book Homer describes Rhythm as:-

Mechanical: Holding all components of a rotating motion to the same R.P.M.

Golf (wise): Holding both Lever Assemblies to the same basic R.P.M throughout the Stroke while overtaking all other Components at a steady, even rate.

Your "Incubation" period starts now.

Tempo: does not get any air time as far as I know but can be likened to your own basic personna: your style, your pace of doing things; smooth or jerky, fast or slow, oil or water.

For example, think of Ernie, "the Big Easy" and compare him to Nick Price. Chalk and cheese, huh?

Tiger to Fred Couples would be another indication of differing Tempos.

You do not learn Tempo - you have a Tempo.
