Accumulator Question

I have not made a search for this topic.

"Why did Homer give them the numbers they got?"

This was a question I got from a fellow instructor. I told him I did not know, but that I knew where to get the answer.......

The question arised when we talked about the order of the releasing.

4,1,2,3

"Huhhh? Would it not be more logical to number them in correct starting order and start with nr 1?"

Mike O? Yoda? Anybody................not being Bucket...........

I simply cannot believe that you don’t know that. I’m stunned.

Homer was a savant. A genius with numbers and geometry. The problem was, he was left with little faculty to complete the simple daily normal tasks like you and I. His wife, Betty, numbered his clothing so each morning after his shower he could dress in an orderly fashion. Socks were numbered 1, Pants #2, Shoes #3 and Shirt #4. After years of dressing this way, he found it to be mathematically beneficial and efficient to dress in the order of 4,3,2,1. Hence, he named the Power Accumulators in that order. It’s in the book, I think.

It's not you, really. I had to call Bucket for the answer too.

I don't believe Bucket sometimes and I should check it out. Maybe Yodasluke can verify the validity of the answer.

Most (Widely) used- i.e. 1 most widely used, 2 less so, 3 less so, 4 least. Homer's mind- understand we are talking about all of the strokes- short, long, -etc., and we are not talking about taking a survey of who is using what- it's more based on potential - i.e. defining it by most potential for widest use/ That's the essential reasoning behind the order of their numbering.

Mike O,

Not most widely used (as he shakes his head in disbelief). It's the Accumulator Release Order.

I can surmise from these and other posts that I'll be again doing most of the Talking at the next LBG Seminar.

Sit next to Bucket - in the back corner
If I can somehow create a dummy corporation in which to siphon the kiddie college fund unbeknownst to my actuary-like wife, you can sit next to me!
The thought of Accumulators came to him when he walk through his kitchen and noticed that his blender had four speeds to it.

Thanks Mike,

Do i understand you correctly that, according to Homer, #4 is the least used?
# 4 be the master, not the leasta!

That's right. Just too clarify- you might not use it in putting, you might not choose to use it in chipping, etc. etc.- so when you look at all the possible strokes- it would show up the least - compared to the others. You get the principle.

IT was trying to show up least . . . but now IT is back EVERYDAY . . . IT can't stay away . . . because IT is a mouth breathing degenerate compulsive freakazoid. Now IT is ubiquitous.
