| The "Clap" drill explanation has been great for me. Thanks!
|
I'm glad the clapping drill helped. I knew it would.
Regarding your questions, please pardon the brevity. Yoda has raised manystarships from the swamp tonight. It is late, and he is tired. But tomorrow isSaturday, and since you might have a game or a big practice session lined up, Ithought you might need the answers. So here they are:
#1. Yes. Your execution will be better because your Total Motion will be better(per 12-3 and 12-5).
#2. a. Yes. Your Right Hip will be pulled "off the Line." YourShoulders will remain "on the Line.".
#2. b. Perhaps you will tend to aim more to the right. But then again, perhapsnot. Just actively monitor your Stance Line and Plane Line versus the TargetLine (per 10-5) and comply with G.O.L.F. alignments. Translate the correctMechanic into a reliable Feel per Chapter 3. [By the way, most people are alreadylined up way too far to the right, but that is another, very interestingstory.]
#3. That's what it means. Hitting (or Swinging), it will not be possible tokeep the Club On-Plane. Why? Because the Right Hip will block the proper actionof the Right Elbow and thereby prevent the Hands from executing their On-Planeassignments.

| Yoda, thanks.. I read somewhere your "clap" analogy for the fanning. Perhaps you can restate as that really clear it up for me. |
Clap your Hands, and watch your forearms.
That is ALL you need to know about Fanning.
Trust me...
Some things really are simple...
And Fanning -- Clapping -- is one of them!
