Alignment Golf

Has anyone watched these DVD's yet? I am halfway through the first one (building your basic stroke) and this is just really, really good stuff. If you don't have this disc set yet, get it!

Oh, I forgot to mention -- thanks, B.J.! -- the 3-disc Alignment Golf DVD Series I did with V.J. Trolio is here! It's over four hours of rapid-fire, mano-o-mano instruction, and I am delighted to have finally given birth!

Yay!

Thirty copies arrived at Cuscowilla late Friday of the LBG Homecoming Classic, and they were all gone by Sunday morning.
They will be available for your order tomorrow in the Pro Shop. Thanks, BamBam!

Retail price: $99.95 (plus s/h).

Your LBG member price: $79.95 + $5.95 s/h (+ international shipping as required).

The DVD's are great!!!! A must have for anyone who wants a great knowledge of TGM. Love all the drills, they sure will come in handy for the students!!!! The best line........."It might take a little country to get rid of some city" PRICELESS HUMOR!!
Have any of you ever seen the Simpson's episode when he spots a trampoline for sale?

"tramapoline...tarampaline....trumpoline..."

Thats the sort of excitement I registered when I realised what you mean't.

Gotta run and place order!!!!
Arrrghhh!!!!!!!!!

How do I buy these?

Nothing in the pro shop section. Please promise to keep me one of these oh Green One!
I'll be checking the pro shop every 30 minutes until they show up. Yoda is now post partum and we all get to enjoy these babies!
We are attempting to resolve international shipping issues. I want to go 'live' in the Pro Shop for all buyers at the same time, so look for the DVDs this evening. If we can't get a handle on the international today, I'll open the door for domestic customers. Thanks to all for their patience with this project.

It is a little early here in Buzzard Country, but I am not seeing the Alignment Golf product in the pro shop yet.

UPP in stunning Ohio
The overseas P mustn't be sorted.
?

don't know where pumpkinhead came from!

I mean't postage and packing!

Yes, that is one of the last details we're working out. The Cuscowilla trip created a bit of a back log of work in my day job, but we'll get this up asap.

Hi Yoda

What topics are covered on the dvd's? Can you provide us with a breakdown of the set (like a table of contents)?

Thanks!

Tincup,

Each disc has a half dozen or so major 'topic' breaks, but in truth, these breaks are somewhat arbitrary. V.J. and I filmed this Series over two days at his home club, Old Waverly Golf Club, in West Point, Mississippi, and the entire work is a virtual 'stream of consciousness' that covers dozens of topics. In the end, only a handful of minor edits were required.

These videos are just so different from anything you have ever seen . . .

Instead of entry level 'This is how to grip the club; this is how to stand to the ball; etc., etc.' - "Bueller, Bueller" -- you find two top flight teaching professionals knockin' it out between each other, talking and demonstrating and demonstrating and talking, all the time letting the muse lead from one critical point to another in perfect creative order.

There are countless ways to present this material, almost all more 'structured' than our Series, but this is the one chosen for me by 'the hand that guides'. It's taken a long time -- 62 years and counting -- but I've finally learned to trust that hand.

And delight in its end result.

Thanks for the additional info Yoda. I look forward to receiving my copy later this week.

Take care.
For the straight plane line drill, I would like to construct one of those PVC rails. It looks like 2" pipe, about 24" tall x 84" long. If anyone has the specs please post. I guess it's not super critical but would be good to know.
Having watched Lynn teach for many hours of lessons and clinics, both as a student, and an assistant, I can say without question, the Drills DVD is pure gold. I am especially fond of the zone 2 drills Lynn presents.

Outstanding. I suspect Homer would be very proud.

The flying wedges and extensor action drills alone could lower the national handicap

Thanks, EdZ!

The late afternoon sun was fading fast, and V.J. and I were ramping hard -- no script or rehearsal -- one drill after another. I think we got in 23 drills on Disk 2, and the only thing that stopped us was the setting sun.

More to come!
I have said it before but I will say it again! DVD # 2 is the best instruction DVD I have ever seen (I have seen quite a few! ) The 3 zone approach...tons of info...ALL explained in terms of drill...that are easy to follow. What else do you need?

Your local PGA A.I. Making your golf game better...making golf a better game.
This afternoon one of my students walks in and shakes my hand. "Man that DVD was great, I love it!"

I was a bit surprised only because for the last two months he's been getting pure TGM instruction but didn't understand the terminology. He agreed with the concepts but sometimes I would get those looks like "what are you talking about?"

He's only viewed the first disc and is ready to roll! We stood out there from 6-7 p.m. in the cold and wind and worked on hinge actions, accumulators and balance. Now we have a common language and he has visual reinforcement thanks to Alignment Golf. Before I was speaking some mystical language but now we are just two Machiner's building the components which will give him a solid golf swing.

When he hit those pure irons all we heard was "crack" and "hissssss"!

High 5, see you next week, and work on your flying wedges
Got 'em...watched 'em...love 'em!

I thought that the Drills DVD alone is worth the total of the series.

Great product...congratulations Yoda...and a heartfelt thanks

Your welcome, Okie. Show'em to all those budding champions you coach, and tell'em Yoda said "hello!"

KevCarter put me on to these videos. He lent me his and I watched all 3 in one afternoon/evening. They are about as good as it can possibly get. The next day, I ordered a set for myself.
Congratulations!

Keep watching, JerryG.

With every viewing, your Computer will take what it can and throw the rest in the Incubator. Your Incubator will give up its treasures only when it is ready, not one second sooner or later.

Soon, your progress will be measured by what you think about what we say . . .

And not by what we ourselves say.

That is when it gets really exciting!

Discovering from the Inside Out.
Thank you for the DVD. It's great to have a clear vision to help the incubator. I had always wondered about extensor action being below plane. Spents many hours just rolling it around in my noggin but now enlightened. Thanx Yoda 'n' VJ!!!

Thank you, kbclements, for posting your review and recommendation. I appreciate it!

I received my Alignment Golf DVD series as a suprise christmas present that I had asked for. I enjoyed watching the videos and although most of the ideas I had known about as a result of working with Yoda and Yodaluke it was refreshing to see how they presented the information. They even got me excited about going back to basic motion to work on the stroke and after 2 weeks I am hitting those short shots as good as i ever could . Each day I hit the balls with a slightly louder sound than the day before and the distance control has been outstanding. The real fun was mixing up hinging wih ball location and creating speciality shots which Yoda talked about in theDVD.

The lesson I learned from all of this is no matter how well you think your game is doing you need to always work with the simple basic motions which will help not only your short game but also the long one as well. It is too easy to revert to the dreaded flip unless you continiously teach your brain.

The DVD's (or the tapes for the old folks) do keep referenceing the full swing DVD. There are spots on the DVD's where there is some converage but I am wondering if there any plans to release another DVD for the full swing .

Great stuff, JerryG. Thanks.

I'm delighted to report that Alignment Golf has now been shipped to 19 countries -- from Canada southward to New Zealand and from California eastward to China -- and is well into its second printing. http://lynnblakegolf.com/cmps_index.php?page=proshop

We appreciate the hundreds of amateurs and professionals around the world who have purchased and endorsed these DVDs. Thanks, guys . . . It is gratifying to know we've made a difference.
