Jean Reynolds today won the 2009 Horseshoe Casino Classic (June 26-28 ) on the Duramed Futures Tour. Jean, a student of Ted Fort, is now the Tour's leading money winnner.

I have been folowing her progress in GolfWeek and noticed a recent 2nd place and now another win. Impressive to say the least. I signed up to be a volunteer at the Women's US Open at Oakmont next year---would love to meet her in person , and given her progress, it looks promising!

She's easy to spot. She's the one killing it of the tee and hitting every fairway, with a driver that's as tall as she is.

Kind of a funny story. But about a month ago or so I went to play Summergrove down in Newnan, GA and I'm about 95% sure that Jean was on the range hitting balls the same time I was. I taped my swing that day and she's in the background, making a beautiful 3x5 patch of unearthed driving range.
