Here's a PM I received last week from LBG Pro Contributor
Brandon Ray. It's always gratifying to know that you've helped, even if only in some small way. For all our readers in the Charleston, SC, area, I recommend you contact Brandon for a lesson. You'll be glad you did!

Lynn,
I am PMing you today as the new Head Teaching Professional at Patriots Point Golf Links in Charleston, S.C.! Thank you for your reference and help in acquiring my new position as a full time g.o.l.f. instructor.
Tom Ness, Director of Instruction for Affiniti Golf Clubs and a Golf Digest Top 50 Instructor, said you called him from Turnberry's practice range during The Open Championship. That is awesome, and I know it played a huge role in getting the job.
I have always been a huge fan of your site and instruction. I feel very priviliged to be in the position I am and to be associated with your Professional Contributor's list.
I feel I owe you much more than a thank you note, so if there's anything I can do please don't hesitate to ask.
In the mean time I'll be on the lesson tee teaching on plane three dimensional impact.
Thanks Again!

Congratulations
Brandon, with the wisdom and help of
YODA, anything is possible! I hope you enjoy your new position, I KNOW your members will be very impressed by your teaching, and handicaps will be dropping!
Kevin
Congratulations! My daughter works in Charleston and I get down there 2-3 times/year---and stay at the Hampton Inn about 1 mile away from your new site. Have played there twice---isn't the view on #17 spectacular? But I hit balls there every trip. Now I know who to see for a tune-up. Hope to get down there in October or early November. You WILL be seeing me, you lucky guy.
Dave
Lynn...thanks for starting this thread it was not my intention at all to have you do so, but I appreciate it.
I've been settling in to the new digs, taught a few lessons, and I got the new JC Video System arriving today!
Kevin thanks for the congrats....if I can teach 1/100th of the great TGM info I've learned here, Handicaps will drop!
Dave I look forward to seeing you soon, and as you mentioned 17 is perennially awarded Best Par-3 in the Lowcountry, an island green poised in the Charleston Harbor with sweeping vistas of Fort Sumter, Shem Creek and the historic downtown skyline. This is a golf hole that will not be forgotten.
For now I'm off to work. Doing some marketing and meeting with The First Tee program which runs out of my facility.
Thanks again for everyones support.

Guys,
I recieved this email last week and I wanted to share.
"Hi Brandon,
As I mentioned earlier I was scheduled to play at Wild Dunes today, a good opportunity to try some of the tips you gave me. Well, some success! Had my fifth hole-in-one on Harbor course #5. I knew I had hit a solid shot but the sun kept us from seeing the actual moment and I thought I had hit over the green....but there it was waiting for my greeting. You do need to have the credit as I executed exactly the way you instructed. In fact I struck the ball better today than in
the past two years. So, thanks again for your help and I am looking to greater things.
Jim"
We're off to a great start in Charleston. Thanks to Homer's precision!
