Where have all the experts gone?
I could speculate but why answer my own question?
It just seem that the participation of the true TGM expert has dwindled. Am I wrong?

I find the search function here to be a marvelous tool to find information on just about anything in the golf swing I might be interested in learning a little more about.

You know how students get restless. We need the calming effect of the watchful eyes of our teachers. And we work harder when they are around.

As for my personal participation, I will be posting this week from the Old Course Hotel and The Open Championship at St. Andrews. Judging from the weather this morning -- cold, wet and windy -- I may be more active than originally planned! Read those posts in The Majors Forum. Meanwhile, I do have some 8,000 posts in the archives that should give active minds plenty to digest.
For now, with due apologies to Pete Seeger and his folk classic, "Where Have All the Flowers Gone", please accept this ditty from the Home of Golf:
Where Have All the Experts Gone?
Where have all the EXPERTS gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the experts gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the experts gone?
Gone to students every one.
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the STUDENTS gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the students gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the students gone?
They're now 'players' every one!
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the PLAYERS gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the players gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the players gone?
Lifting trophies every one!
When will they ever learn?
When will they ever learn?
Where have all the TROPHIES gone?
Long time passing
Where have all the trophies gone?
Long time ago
Where have all the trophies gone?
Gone to students every one!
That's 'cause they have learned . . .
That's 'cause they have learned!
