Managed Throwaway...

...ain't gonna cut it when you lose your nerves. I know, and it's the worst...

Mr. Mahan has such a beautiful golf stroke, but watching him chip makes me shake, and will make him quit the game. It's a simple fix, and I know Mr Foley has the information.

The three imperatives and basic motion. Nothing fancy. Get him in the dungeon, Jerry would fix him...

Please, somebody help him!!!

I agree, very few people can play that move under pressure, I guess Freddy comes to mind as one who intentionality decels it on the pitches.

I think Mahan would do good to get a lesson from Phil.

Cheers Greg.

Funny, Freddy has the flinches with putting, but steady as a rock when chipping.

Watching the guys practice at the PGA, they were masters of managed throwaway, but Mr. Mahan needs to go back to basics until he can get it on the green every time... at least, that's how it works for this nervous nellie...

The horrible mistake was when Kaymer (who is the best player right now and its not close) missed left he needed to make sure he missed right, yet hooked it badly.
I really like Kaymer's game, and agree on his status... but I'm really pulling for Miguel today. Might be too much to handle though. No embarrassment in losing to the future #1 .
