One of the young Canadian men has a mom with cancer and Rheumatoid Arthritis and is being treated with Chemo. His mom is cute, but she must also be a saint as she works 40-70 hours a week. Should he really be golfing? Your opinion?

One of the young men is Bermudian and spent his life with his family foraging for food. He works in a pro shop and he had earned a track scholarship. He plays 9 holes at lunch....running! How do you guys think he'll do?

IC T
I haven't seen the show but now I'm very interested.

Let me know who wins.
Is there a scenario where s a man shouldnt be golfing? Never occured to me.

Well after the first episode I'm rooting for Shank. Former Long Drive competitor and real life Tin Cup would be cool to see on the PGA Tour. Him and the guy with the dreads (Will I think?) Anyone who plays cross-handed is alright in my book

Given some of my golf rounds over the years NC, I should like those guys too. I am intrigued by the track guy and I am pulling for the Marine and Canadian kid with the very sick mom.

I love the Marine saying, 'Hell, no one's shooting at me here!"

Capitalism, he should realize, is war through other means!

So very true I think it's a cool idea how they play with 'their own money'. It puts a different perspective on how they play the game when they have something tangible to lose. I bet Lee Trevino would be right at home on the show with this kind of format.

I kept racking my brain trying to imagine how Soccer athleticism translates into golfing Alignments. My kids are good athletes. I wouldn't park my cart in front of them if they were hitting.

And while I honor his military service, I was underwhelmed by my Yiddish brother who has lost his edge playing country club golfers for lots of money and probably winning with pars or bogies.
