1) Punch out straight left to the fairway and hit my 5th shot from 120.
2) Punch through a fairly narrow gap between 2 trees (higher risk) and get the ball nearer the green or............
3) Is that a hole in the tree limbs I see about 80 feet up in the air and about 4 feet in diameter directly in line with the green????????????
IT IS!The opening is about 70 yards in front of me and looks to have thin enough limbs growing in on it that if I clip them the ball should still advance. At this point it becomes a matter of trust, so I find my straight plane line, let the endless belt effect take place and proceed to hit PW through the opening without touching one limb or leaf. The ball hits and sticks 10 feet from the hole. Although I missed the putt for 5 and a certain "POD" (Par Of the Day)
I was certain I could at least get credit for a Holie - perhaps the first one to be claimed that didn't happen on terra firma.
