Pre-testimonial, going to Cuscowilla in 5 days!

I am a super-lurker on this forum because I have often learned so much just from reading posts and watching the videos. I bought the Alignment DVD a couple of years ago, along with the yellow book, and just started from there. Actually got down to nearly an 8 hcp. Not getting too deeply into it, that is until about 4 months ago.

I felt myself just really falling off the rails. My handicap started to balloon, and I was not having fun. Got the book and DVD back out, watch quite a few videos on YouTube featuring Yoda and others. I now have that passion back! I want to improve AND understand this crazy game.

The opportunity came up to where I was going to be in Cuscowilla so I gave it a shot and gave Lynn a buzz to see if we could get together, and it is going to work out. So this Friday and Saturday from 9-1, this young (ha!) padawan will be in the Masters hands.

I'm so excited, like a kid on Christmas eve! I will take the video camera to document my journey, and show pre and post lessons.

great ! Enjoy !
Man, I cannot wait. I loved ICT's reports and really look forward to yours as well.
Day one is in the books, boy am I pooped! But to learn, listen and to be instructed by Lynn is absolutely second to none. He has me on tape via his computer ( long story about my video camera ), so for that I apologize.

My main problem (well one anyway, LOL) too steep on the on the start of the downswing, all of this caused by NOT clearing the right hip out of the way on the backswing. So the first step was to get the machine to recognize that the right hip needs to be out of the way.

1. First drill, drop the right foot back to get the feel of right pocket straight back, and to stop the sway. Immediate improvement for backswing plane AND contact.

2. On to the McDonald's drills...

Will post the rest tonight as "she who must be obeyed" wants to go out to eat.

Where are your priorities man?!?
Good point, LOL.

2. Spent a lot of time on the McDonald drills because that is where I need the most work, I tend to sway a bit more than pivot. once that was getting more in tune...The sweet sound of ball compression...wow..just wow. It has never been like that for me. And good Lord, Lynn can flat knock it out there. Gave me a short demo with a m29 mizuno 1 iron, yes a 1 iron...just as high and piercing ball flight. Man, that is what I am striving for. I have tried to be a hitter if you will, now a swinger, and loving it. I have tons of drills to keep me busy this winter. Mainly "right, left, right, left...."

More tomorrow, but I will say this, if you have a chance in the world to come down here, do it! You will not regret it. Just some of the stories that Lynn has are worth the admission price. I honestly can't wait until tomorrow, it is that enjoying.
